In celebration of Women’s Equality Day on August 26th and the 1920 adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, we are sharing books about women whose activism and determination secured them the right to vote, and the women who followed in their footsteps to push for further equality.
Women’s Equality Day commemorates the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which granted women the right to vote. On this day, we are celebrating the achievements of women’s rights activists and remembering the unique daily struggles that women face with books on women’s rights. Find the book list here:
