By Allan Spencer | March 29 2024 | Literature

Ebony LaDelle, author of Love Radio, is editing an anthology of love stories set at Historically Black Colleges and Universities to be published by Ballantine Books. Contributors include Kiese Laymon, Elizabeth Acevedo, Farrah Rochon, Dawnie Walton, and more. Ballantine is hosting an open call for submissions from current undergrad and graduate HBCU students for stories, which will be considered for inclusion in the anthology.

We invite you to spread the word to any interested students on your campus or in your classes. If a story is selected for inclusion, the writer will receive author credit as a contributor and receive a contributor fee. Submission deadline is May 15. More information along with the submission form can be found here.
