Daphne Palasi Andreades

Daphne Palasi Andreades (she/they) is an artist and educator from Queens, New York. Daphne’s debut novel, Brown Girls, was a finalist for the inaugural Carol Shields Prize for Fiction—the largest prize for women and non-binary writers in the world—the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize, the New American Voices Award, and was named a New York Times Editors’ Choice. Daphne was the Sidney Harman Fiction Writer-In-Residence Visiting Professor at The City University of New York, Baruch College.
