He has been writing and drawing comics and graphic novels for all ages for over twenty-five years. His work has appeared in numerous books, newspapers, magazines and other periodicals around the world and he has been honored with various international storytelling awards, including an Eisner for his 2007 graphic novel, Laika. He also works as a publishing consultant, visual facilitator for corporate business and speaker on visual communication in culture. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife and daughter.
Elena Casagrande was born in 1983, and has worked on titles as varied as Hulk, Hack/Slash, Angel, Star Trek and The X-Files. As well as drawing the adventures of the Tenth Doctor in Doctor Who, she is best known for Suicide Risk, her creator-owned series with Mike Carey. She lives in Italy, where she works forty-eight hours a day and never sleeps.
Arianna Florean is Elena's preferred colorist, and has joined her on her many art adventures, as well as coloring series such as GI Joe: Cobra, GI Joe: Origins, Jericho and many more. A talented artist and cartoonist in her own right, Arianna lives and works in Rome, Italy, where she somehow keeps pace with Elena without complaint.
