The take-no-prisoners vigilante Punisher sets his sights on the entire Marvel Universe - twice!

The Punisher is set to return to the small screen in DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN, with actor Jon Bernthal reprising his role in the upcoming Disney + series!

In a classic WHAT IF?-style tale by Frank Castle’s signature writer, Garth Ennis, Frank Castle’s family died not in a mob shootout, but during a superhuman slugfest. Armed with an arsenal of advanced weaponry, the Punisher seeks his revenge by hunting down Spider-Man, Magneto, Captain America, the Kingpin, Daredevil, Doctor Doom, the Hulk, Venom, Wolverine and more. One by one, group by group, the one-man army means to kill them all! Then, in another nightmarish reality, a terrible plague sweeps the Earth, turning everyone — human, hero, villain, god and monster — into sadistic cannibal predators. One man hunts the wasteland that was New York City, standing against the hordes of monsters who hunt the night. He is the Punisher, the Last Gun on Earth!

Collecting: PUNISHER KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE and MARVEL UNIVERSE VS. PUNISHER #1-4.
Garth Ennis has been writing comics since 1989. His credits include Preacher, Hitman, The Boys and the war series Battlefields and War Story, as well as successful runs on The Punisher and Fury for Marvel Comics. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Ennis now resides in New York City with his wife, Ruth.

Jonathan Maberry is a New York Times-bestselling author, multiple Bram Stoker Award winner and comic-book freelancer. His novels include the Pine Deep Trilogy (Ghost Road Blues, Dead Man’s Song and Bad Moon Rising); the Joe Ledger thriller series (Patient Zero, The Dragon Factory, The King of Plagues and Assassin’s Code); the Benny Imura Young Adult dystopian series (Rot & Ruin, Dust & Decay, Flesh & Bone, and Fire & Ash); the Scribe Award-winning film adaptation of The Wolfman and the standalone horror thriller Dead of Night. His nonfiction books include the international bestseller Zombie CSU, The Cryptopedia, They Bite, Vampire Universe and Wanted Undead or Alive. His comics work for Marvel includes Marvel Universe vs. Wolverine, Marvel Universe vs. the Punisher, Doom War, Black Panther and Captain America: Hail Hydra.

Following his start at the U.K.’s 2000 AD, Doug Braithwaite moved to Marvel. He illustrated writer Garth Ennis’ Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe one-shot, after which he joined Jim Krueger and Alex Ross to continue the Earth X saga in Universe X and Paradise X. After penciling part of Bruce Jones’ Incredible Hulk run, he reunited with Ennis on the Punisher MAX title. At DC, he has drawn iconic characters Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and others. He also rejoined Krueger and Ross on Justice.

Croatian-born artist Goran Parlov’s contribution to the fan-favorite Italian comic series Ken Parker earned him attention overseas, garnering Parlov assignments on the cult classic Outlaw Nation, published by DC Comics, and the sci-fi series Terminator 3: Before the Rise. Parlov joined author Richard K. Morgan on Marvel’s Black Widow: Homecoming, a fast-paced miniseries that returned the character to her espionage roots. Following his success on Punisher, Parlov re-teamed with writer Garth Ennis on Punisher Presents: Barracuda MAX, illustrating a new tale of this unforgettable killer for hire. He collaborated with award-winning author Jonathan Maberry to tell the tale of a dystopian future in which a dangerous pathogen has destroyed human society, turning everyone it touches into murderous cannibals, in Marvel Universe vs. the Punisher.
