Writer Al Ewing began his career on the British anthology 2000 AD. Since breaking into American comics, he has written Jennifer Blood and spin-off series The Ninjettes for Dynamite Entertainment, and the Age of Ultron tie-in issues of Avengers Assemble for Marvel Comics. Ewing’s novels include the Pax Britannia series as well as The Fictional Man. With artist Greg Land, he relaunched Marvel’s Mighty Avengers; for All-New Marvel NOW!, gave the god of mischief a new assignment in Loki: Agent of Asgard. Ewing then took revamped versions of New Avengers and Ultimates, debuted U.S.Avengers; and joined the writing team for the “No Surrender” storyline in Avengers, which brought the Hulk back from the dead. His subsequent titles include Valkyrie, Guardians of the Galaxy, Defenders, the event series Empyre and the critically revered smash hit Immortal Hulk. Ewing has cemented his place in the Krakoan era of the X-Men titles comics with S.W.O.R.D. and X-Men: Red.

Iman Vellani is a Canadian actress of Pakistani origin, well-known for portraying Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), the protagonist of the Disney+ miniseries Ms. Marvel in 2022 and is set to reprise the role in the Marvel Studios film The Marvels in 2023. Villani graduated from Unionville High School in Markham, Ontario, and was selected as a member of the TIFF Next Wave Committee at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival. Most of all, Iman hjas always been a huge fan of Marvel comics, and when Marvel heard she might be keen to write some comic adventures herself, they leapt at the chance for her put her stamp on the comic version of the character she’s brought to such vivid life in the Ms. Marvel Disney+ series. And the results have been even better than they’d hoped—the depth of her knowledge of the characters and her passion for their stories was immediately both clear and contagious!

Working for the Marvel UK imprint led Spanish artist Salvador Larroca to a regular gig on Ghost Rider. He graduated to Fantastic Four, alongside one of his favorite writers, Chris Claremont. From 2000 to 2006, Larroca depicted Marvel’s mutants across Uncanny X-Men, X-Men and X-Treme X-Men. Following a stint on Amazing Spider-Man, Larroca brought his maturing style to a lengthy run on Invincible Iron Man and the X-Men: No More Humans original graphic novel. Upon the return of Star Wars to Marvel, Larroca turned to the dark side with Darth Vader before taking on the flagship Star Wars title.

Sara Pichelli worked in the animation industry as a storyboard artist and character designer before taking a chance in the comics business. After breaking in in her native Italy, she was a layout assistant for David Messina on Star Trek for IDW. In 2008, she was one of the winners of the ChesterQuest International Talent Search and has since worked for Marvel Comics on such titles as NYX, Runaways, Eternals, X-Men: Pixie Strikes Back and Namora. She joined writer Brian Michael Bendis on Ultimate Spider-Man, and together the pair introduced the new Spider-Man, Miles Morales, in the pages of Ultimate Fallout and Ultimate Comics Spider-Man. They continued Miles’ adventures in Spider-Man, and paired him with Peter Parker in Spider-Men and Spider-Men II. Pichelli reunited with Bendis on Guardians of the Galaxy.

After establishing himself on Eternity’s Ex-Mutants and First’s Badger, Ron Lim went cosmic with a six-year penciling run on Silver Surfer, followed by a collaboration with Jim Starlin on the Warlock/Thanos Infinity multi-miniseries saga. With writer Tom DeFalco, he helped create the look and characters of the MC2 universe, while he explored a different Marvel future during a 35-issue run on X-Men 2099. Lim’s other Marvel credits include Captain America, Spider-Man Unlimited and Venom: Lethal Protector.
