Red-hot writer Steve Orlando continues his electric era of Scarlet Witch!

The Scarlet Witch has carved out a haven for herself in upstate New York, but it's all about to go up in flames. Wanda's newfound peace has drawn the wrath of a primal force unlike anything she's ever faced before — and it won't stop until it razes Wanda's world. A clash of titans awaits as Wanda and her allies fight for all she holds dear! But what happens when an unstoppable force meets the end of all things? When pure chaos meets pure destruction? Wanda's about to find out — if she survives long enough! Trapped in the realm of the Queen of Nevers, the Scarlet Witch fights to reach the land of the living — and comes face to face with Lore, her necromantic multiversal counterpart!

Steve Orlando made a name for himself at DC Comics, writing Wonder Woman, various Batman titles and Martian Manhunter. His Midnighter series and its sequel Midnighter and Apollo were nominated for a GLAAD Media Award. Orlando arrived at Marvel to celebrate a legendary character’s 50th anniversary across three Curse of the Man-Thing one-shots. Orlando contributed to Marvel’s Voices: Pride and returned to the intersection of super-heroics and horror with the Darkhold storyline.

Russell Dauterman is a freelance artist and character designer. In addition to Marvel’s Cyclops, Dauterman has worked on titles such as Nightwing, Shadowman, Quantum + Woody and Supurbia. He has also illustrated the children’s books Shape Up or Bite Me, the Nanny Reilly series and his own Terry, the Awkward Turtle. Dauterman was a costume illustrator on the films Captain America: The First Avenger and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Helping chronicle the adventures of Jane Foster as Thor, Goddess of Thunder, established Dauterman as one of the industry’s brightest talents, a reputation set to be confirmed by his collaboration with Jason Aaron on the epic War of the Realms. Dauterman wowed fans of Marvel’s mutants with his Giant-Size X-Men collaborations with Jonathan Hickman and his stunning designs for the Hellfire Gala.
