A writer and filmmaker from Chicago, Kyle Higgins wrote and produced the 2008 short film The League with Alec Siegel, about a super-hero labor union during the 1960s. For Marvel, the pair wrote the Captain America Theater of War one-shot Prisoners of Duty.

Spanish artist David López has penciled New Avengers: The Reunion and its followup, Hawkeye & Mockingbird. In Mystic, he helped bring to life a story of epic high fantasy set against a backdrop of impending civil war. At DC, he has provided artwork for Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight and Catwoman, and co-created Fallen Angel with writer Peter David. In addition to his collaboration with Kelly Sue DeConnick on Captain Marvel, López’s Marvel credits include All-New Wolverine, New Mutants and X-Men.
