Jane Flory 91917-2005) wrote and illustrated many children's books from the 1940s into the early 1980s. Her work includes dozens of colorful picture books as well as several novels. She earned her degree from the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Art in 1939 and later became the school's evening division director.
