Patricia J. Murphy writes for big and little people from her writer’s studio in Chicago. She has written more than 150 children’s books, with more on the way, including board books, early readers, picture books, creative nonfiction titles, chapter books, middle grade novels, as well as a growing list of scripts for children’s television. When she is not writing or riding horses, she spends time with her family, dabbles in acting, helps make Raggedy Ann dolls for children in need, plays golf, runs, and visits Ireland every chance she can get.
