Christopher De Pree, PhD

Christopher De Pree, PhD,  is the Charles A. Dana Professor of Astronomy and chair of the department at Agnes Scott College. His teaching interests include introductory astronomy and physics, scientific computing, and galactic astrophysics. His research focuses on early stages of massive star formation in the Milky Way, HII regions, and astrophysical jets and outflows. He is the author of Idiot's Guides: The Cosmos and coauthor, with Alan Axelrod, PhD, of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Astronomy.
