PATRICIA MORRIS BUCKLEY is a member of the Mohawk Nation. She has been writing professionally for more than thirty years, first as a journalist and then for children. She is an elementary school librarian, SCBWI regional advisor, avid reader, writing teacher, and mom.

SOL SALINAS is a non-binary Latinx artist from San Antonio, Texas. At a young age, they fell in love with history, and a passion for consuming antiquity led them to become the illustrator and storyteller they are now. Sol wants to tell the stories of extraordinary people who lived extraordinary lives and educate the youths of today with tales from the past.
