Clare Hodgson Meeker

CLARE HODGSON MEEKER is an award-winning author. She teaches writing workshops in elementary and middle schools throughout the northwest and to adults at Richard Hugo House, a writers cooperative in Seattle, Washington. Born and raised in New York, she graduated with a B.A. in Music from Boston University and received a law degree from Hofstra University in 1980. She left the practice of law to raise two children and began writing books for children in 1993.
