David Burtka

David Burtka is an award-winning and sought-after host, chef, caterer, actor, and author of the bestselling Life is a Party: Deliciously Doable Recipes to Make Every Day a Celebration. His Food Network special, Life’s A Party with David Burtka, aired in 2016 and was awarded a Telly Award and 1st Prize at the New York Film and TV Awards. He has appeared in numerous shows on Broadway and Off, including Sam Mendes’ Gypsy (Fred Astaire Award nomination) Edward Albee’s The Goat or Who is Sylvia? and The Play About The Baby, It Shoulda Been You, and in a variety of TV series and films, such as The West Wing (TV) and Cicada, Dance-Off, Annie and the Gypsy, and Regrets Only (Film). David’s one-man show, Burtka, David, played a sold-out engagement at 54 Below. Among David’s various producing credits, he can be seen in the series Drag Me to Dinner streaming on Hulu.
