Emily Greenhalgh is a full-time science communicator and author of Fun with Oceans and Seas and Fun with Outer Space. Even as a kid, she never met a science fact she didn’t like. She grew up in Rhode Island, staring into tide pools, flipping over logs to look at bugs, and counting shooting stars in the sky. Now she helps scientists tell their stories. In her spare time, she writes speculative fiction, does pottery, and enjoys putting cheese on things. She lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with her husband, their two dogs, and one cat.
