J. D. Forester (she/her) lives on a farm in Connecticut. She is the author of several books for young readers.

Henry Rancourt (he/him) lives in Cleveland, Ohio. There, he completed his bachelor of fine arts in illustration at the Cleveland Institute of Art. He works digitally using a variety of textures and materials to give his illustrations a whimsical nostalgic feel. In 2021, he showed work in the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles West 59 show and the dPictus Unpublished Picturebook Showcase. In his free time, he loves biking and reading a good book.
