    Born in 1980 in Dubai, Saraswati Nagpal was an early reader. She wrote plays, stories, and poetry through high school and college. A keen student of Indian classical dance and music, Saraswati has been teaching young children for five
    years, and especially enjoys helping them weave their own stories through words, music, and movement. Her dream is to write many magical stories and she is working hard at it.

The short glossary is a nice addition, although not essential for older readers, since the meanings of most unfamiliar words are cleverly embedded through contextualization by Nagpal. . .  The illustrations are vibrant and the text easy to read, both in terms of vocabulary and organization.
