Lorena Alvarez is an Eisner Award-nominated freelance illustrator and artist and winner of the Russ Manning Newcomer Award, born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. She studied Graphic Design and Arts at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She has illustrated for children’s books, independent publications, advertising and fashion magazines with clients including Puffin Books, Faber & Faber, Usborne Books, Parragon, Boom! Studios, Nickelodeon and Disney.
