The origin of the world’s first super-team is revealed in JSA: Year One, from writer Jeff Lemire and artist Gavin Guidry!

"Their many imperfections are what will bind them together. They don’t see it yet, but none of them are alone. Soon they will be drawn together by tragedy. And from that will emerge a great force. An alliance of men and women unlike any history has ever seen."

First introduced in the 1940s, the Justice Society of America stands as comic books’ first superhero team. In this new collected edition, DC’s bold tradition of Year One stories continues as the formation of the JSA is detailed for the first time!

Find out how Alan Scott, Jay Garrick, Wonder Woman, Hawkman, and more first united in this tale from Eisner Award-winning writer Jeff Lemire (Sweet Tooth, Absolute Flash) and rising star artist Gavin Guidry (The Flash, Superman '78: The Metal Curtain). Can this new team save Gotham City—and all of America?

Collects JSA #13–18.
