Join a thoughtful cow on her quest for a life of luxury in this hilarious picture book introduction to six simple machines, for kids aged 3–7.

Cow.

Castle.

Cow in the castle.

But . . . how?

In this sparsely told yet delightful tale, an intrepid problem-solving cow who dreams of a life of luxury will stop at nothing to get into a nearby castle, even if she has to invent a whole new way to do so — or six — in this hilarious, chaotic picture book introduction to the six simple machines: lever, screw, wedge, pulley, inclined plane, and wheel and axle.

With backmatter including simple machine definitions and examples, this book will inspire inventor/maker kids and early readers through the persistent example of a real Renaissance man . . . er, cow.
