Cat Napped

Illustrated by Leeza Hernandez
Mosey cat. Nosey cat.
Curl up nice and cozy cat.

Cats are naturally curious, but sometimes too much curiosity can get them into trouble! That’s what happens when one kitty wakes up from a nap to find she might be lost . . .

Luckily, a kind passerby and the folks at the animal shelter are ready to help reunite her with her favorite friend!
Leeza Hernandez grew up on the Isle of Wight off the south coast of England. She spent many childhood afternoons searching her neighborhood for her curious cats who had taken off for adventures and chasing Billy, a boisterous Doberman Pincer, and Kurt, a mischievous German Shepherd, all around the island. When she visits now, a Shitsu called Chewie lives up to her name and even tries to chew her sketchbook.

A graduate of Newcastle College of Art and Design, Leeza lives in New Jersey with her husband, daughter, and cat Maisy, who prefers to stay home (luckily!) and catnap in the sun.
