Bad Astrid

Illustrated by Regan Dunnick
Everyone knows a bully like Astrid--she's "the meanest girl you could possibly meet," and she and her family have moved in down the street! She has a bad attitude and thinks nothing of terrorizing tabby cats, trashing tulip beds, or toppling lemonade stands. It's not easy to stay out of Astrid's way. Who has the strength of character to ask her why she's so mean? Not since Bootsie Barker Bites has such a deliciously mischievous character (who gets her comeuppance) been drawn. From the author of Dirtball Pete comes another character you won't soon forget.
EILEEN BRENNAN is the author and illustrator of Dirtball Pete. She studied music and painting. After college she also began exploring new mediums, including writing, animation, and film. Eileen has written for the Nick Jr. television show Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! and continues to write stories for children and adults. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.

REGAN DUNNICK has illustrated several picture books for children. His works are in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress. Regan lives in Osprey, Florida, with his wife, Debbie, and his parrot, Stretch. He teaches at the Ringling College of Art and Design.
