Pauline M. Matarasso

Pauline M. Matarasso is a medieval historian, literature scholar, and translator. She has published a series of translations of Grail literature and monastic writings including The Cistercian World: Monastic Writings of the Twelfth Century, and The Quest of the Holy Grail. Matarasso was born in 1929. She received a Master of Arts from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University, in 1950. She also received a Docteur de l'Université from the University of Paris in 1959.
