Kathryn Derounian-Stodola

Kathryn Derounian-Stodola has published five books, including Women’s Indian Captivity Narratives and a monograph titled The War in Words: Reading the Dakota Conflict through the Captivity Literature. She is also a professor of English at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, where her primary research interests are early American women writers and the captivity narrative genre.
