Barbara Karlin

Barbara Karlin was a beloved author of many children's picture books and a reviewer for publications such as the New York Times, Publishers Weekly, the Los Angeles Times, LA Parent, and more. She died in 1991, and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators established the Barbara Karlin Grant for Writers of Picture Book Text in her memory.
