Melinda Luke has been writing and editing books for young readers for many years. A mother of two teenage daughters, she lives on a small farm in southwestern Connecticut with horses, dogs, cats, poultry, and a talking parrot. She enjoys writing nonfiction with a special interest in plants, animals, and life sciences. The Green Dog is Melinda’s first book for Kane Press.
