Wen-chin Ouyang

Wen-chin Ouyang is Professor of Arabic and Comparative Literature at SOAS, University of London, and a Fellow of the British Academy. She was born in Taiwan and raised in Libya, completed her BA at Tripoli University, and received a PhD in Middle Eastern Studies at Columbia University. She is the founder and co-editor of Edinburgh Studies in Classical Arabic Literature and her books include The Poetics of Love in the Arabic Novel.
