Karen Harbaugh lives in the Pacific Northwest with a wonderful husband and an alarmingly intelligent son. She has found that being a romance writer, wife, and mother to be more challenging than being a freelance technical writer or a Quality Assurance Analyst for a major HMO. On the other hand, she does enjoy challenges, and spinning tales for profit allows her to wear multicolored socks and Birkenstocks while she works, which is a definite plus.
