In June we celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual + (LGBTQIA+) Pride Month, which honors the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan. Pride Month is a time to both celebrate the accomplishments of those in the LGBTQ+ community and recognize the ongoing struggles faced by many across the world who wish to live

In honor of Lesbian Visibility Week, which takes place April 21st – April 27th, and Lesbian Visibility Day on April 26th, we are sharing books by and about lesbians, and their experiences and history.

For LGBTQIA+ Pride Month in June, we are celebrating the community with a collection that displays its contributions to society. The books within this collection are written by a range of individuals whose unique experiences show that the community is expansive and diverse, and their work ranges from fiction to memoir to history. Their individual
