Anne Isaacs

Anne Isaacs was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. She feels most at home in rural environments, such as the redwood forest near her Santa Cruz, California, home, where she lives with her husband and three children. The family has built their own treehouse, which they share with several squirrels and blue jays. Isaacs is the author of the Caldecott Honor Book Swamp Angel, and her other works include Cat Up a Tree and Treehouse Tales.
