Mike Mignola began his career in the early 1980s as an inker at Marvel Comics. He soon transitioned to penciling many fondly remembered comics including the first DC Elsewhere book, Gotham by Gaslight; Wolverine’s Jungle Adventure, and Cosmic Odyssey. In 1993 he created Hellboy and has been writing and drawing the character ever since.
