An actor and screenwriter Walter Koenig started his professional acting career in the mid-1960s and quickly rose to prominence for his supporting role as Ensign Pavel Chekov in Star Trek: The Original Series . His script for the Star Trek: The Animated Series episode, “The Infinite Vulcan” made him the first cast member to write a Star Trek story for television. He went on to reprise this role in all six original-cast Star Trek films, and later voiced President Anton Chekov in Star Trek: Picard

Una McCormack is best known as the author of numerous tie-in novels based on the TV series Star Trek and Doctor Who. She is the author of The Baba Yaga and The Star of the Sea, part of the Weird Space series.

Greg Cox has written numerous Star Trek novels, including The Eugenics Wars, The Q Continuum, Assignment: Eternity, and The Black Shore. His first Khan novel, The Eugenics Wars: Volume One, was voted best sci-fi book of the year by the readers of Dreamwatch magazine.

David Mack co-wrote the fourth-season Deep Space Nine episode “Starship Down.” Another story he pitched was bought three years later as the basis for the seventh-season episode “It’s Only a Paper Moon.”

Keith R. A. DeCandido has written novels for the Star Trek, Alien, Supernatural, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer franchises among others, as well as Farscape comic books. He has also written novels based on Marvel’s Spider-Man and wrote the novelization for the film Serenity.
