Mariko Tamaki’s work includes graphic novels (Skim and This One Summer, both with Jillian Tamaki) and young-adult prose (Saving Montgomery Sole and (You) Set Me On Fire). This One Summer received Printz and Caldecott honors, as well as Eisner and Ignatz awards. At Marvel, Tamaki has written Hulk and its successor She-Hulk, bringing Jennifer Walters into the Marvel Legacy era.

New York-native Afro-Latinx writer Vita Ayala graduated from DC Comics’ inaugural Talent Development Workshop, soon working on some of the publisher’s most famous characters — including Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Suicide Squad. Their collaboration with artist Emily Pearson on zombie story The Wilds for Black Mask gained Ayala industry-wide attention, including at Marvel, where they demonstrated their talents on books including Shuri and Marvel Knights: 20th. The limited series Age of X-Man: Prisoner X followed, then the ongoing Morbius, and Ayala introduces a new generation of mutants for Dawn of X in Children of the Atom. In addition, they have written comic books featuring such diverse pop-culture icons as Xena: Warrior Princess and James Bond, as well as their critically acclaimed series Livewire for Valiant Comics.

Gurihiru is a Japanese illustration team comprising artists Sasaki and Kawano. They are based in the city of Sapporo, Japan. The pair has worked on several Marvel Comics titles — including the various Power Pack limited series, Marvel Double Shot, Marvel Age Fantastic Four and Gus Beezer & Spider Man. In addition to drawing A-Babies vs. X-Babies, they also contributed to the Secret Wars: Secret Love one-shot.
