Celia Correas Zapata was born and raised in Argentina, where she received her doctorate in Latin American Literature. A professor of literature at California State University in San JosÈ, Celia has written several books on Latin American literature and poetry including: Ensayos hispanoamericanos, Cruz del sur and Tiempo ajeno.
